The Smoakhouse Ranch is a historic property, nestled in the center of the best Florida's north country has to offer. A crisp fall and winter. flowering springs and milder summers. Truly an outdoorsmans dream. We offer fully appointed cabins with breakfast from $99.00!

Wander aimlessly in our woods (we've cleared trails for you). Thrill the cows, donkeys, lambs, and other Ranch pets with your attentions. Pick our unique blackberries, apples, and grapes when in season. Wander across the bridge, over the pond, and enjoy the antics of the frogs, fish and turtles. This is a working 50 acre farm.

Ponder the ancient, tall pecan trees. Sit on your own porch, or the swing, with a book (There's one written about this very place!). Take a dip in our pool. Enjoy the use of our grills and campfire circles. End your day in the Spa, as the quiet of this place surrounds you. Retire to down covered beds or the sleeping lofts.

We're in the heart of Florida's spring and river country. We can arrange a day on the Rivers, or you can tour a dozen huge springs. Swim, SCUBA dive and explore. Bring your kayak or rent a canoe. Day trip the antique and art shops of High Springs, Live Oak and Mayo - All within 30 minutes, as well as 8 area parks! The popular Ichetucknee park and river run are only minutes away.

Located on the Homestead site of an old family farm (some of the original structures still serve us), we have created a unique country place for you. There are three private cottages, and a full 3/2 farmhouse. Your comfort, and a pleasant introduction to the spirit of the country are the key to each select furnishing.

All lodgings feature full baths, well planned modern kitchens, and all amenities to allow self-catering if desired. Spacious bed and sitting rooms. A large covered deck. Central heat and A/C that you control. Cabin 1 features a sleeping loft. The Farmhouse is suitable for large family gatherings.

We have also included a DVD player and HDTV. Internet access is complimentary. The Earl cabin recreates the actual hand-built, rough cypress, 1920's farm house, with all it's warmth, open family space and pioneer spirit. All of the amenities and comforts, in a very special place.
